THE CREW

(Some of them anyway...)

120 years after the adventures of the Secondprize, Explorer, Waystation, and Banshee, Starfleet still hasn't worked all of the kinks out of their recruiting system.

CAPTAIN REGINALD BAIN

This boisterous, burly, battle-hardened Brit has seen a lot in his 40 years of service in Starfleet. Bain has encountered hundreds of species and been attacked by at least half of them. His assignment to the Anomaly may have pulled him away from his wife and gardens in the Sussex Downs, but he's ready and eager to make the ship his own.

COMMANDER PROSAK

The Anomaly's first officer and the only Romulan in Starfleet. Prosak is a member of a growing group of RommaVulcs, Romulans who believe in combining the best of the Romulan and Vulcan cultures to create the best possible society. But she's finding that combining Vulcan logic with Romulan emotions doesn't always work...especially when surrounded by humans.

LT. CMDR. TOVAR

The Anomaly's Yynsian Tact-Ops officer has been Bain's right hand man for years, so much so that he knows most of Bain's thoughts before Bain even realizes he needs to think them. While normally an aloof, but competant offer, Tovar constantly battles the growing instability inside his own mind. Before his birth, not one, but two life forces, each with a full complement of past lives, forced their way into his body. One life force is supposed to be there; the other was desperate to get back to the mortal plain to complete unfinished business. And while the internal stuggle for control rages between these two life forces, Tovar is the guy in charge of the weapons. Feel safe yet?

LT. SHELLY MARSDEN

The designer of the Anomaly. She had the ship ripped right out from under her by Captain Bain and has been forced to serve as his chief engineer. Can we say 'bitter?'

DR. NATALIA KASYOV

While not a Starfleet Officer, Kasyov is the Federation's foremost expert on disembodied brains. She's reluctantly agreed to be the Anomaly's science officer, but only so she can run tests on the Anomaly's special passenger. Needless to say, spending all her time around brains in jars has really hurt her social skills.

CABRAL

The disembodied brain who hitched a ride on the Anomaly and somehow manages to keep the Romulan/Federation hybrid engines from exploding. For a brain in a big metal sphere, he's pretty charming...at least Dr. Kasyov thinks so.
