For the last eighteen months, Starfleet Intelligence Agent [[Samantha Dallas]] has been committed/imprisoned at the [[Tantalus V]] Psychiatric Facility. Now a mysterious benefactor is giving her a chance to strike back.

==Summary==
Samantha Dallas is released from Tantalus V by an order from Admiral [[Earl Wyndham]]. Wyndham also sends Dallas a package leading her to [[Waystation]], where the [[Crazy Condor Circus]] is due to perform. Dallas and Agent [[Batyn]] join forces with the crew of Waystation to find out what the Condors are up to. They narrowly prevent the Condors from stealing an experimental device from [[Bradley Dillon]]. Several Condors are arrested, but the rest of the circus is released due to lack of evidence.

Earl Wyndham

Starfleet admiral in charge of assigning personnel to the [[USS Secondprize]]. [[Alexander Rydell]]'s first assignment as captain of the Secondprize was to take Wyndham to a ceremony on Lodgibax. During the trip, Wyndham went nuts, stole a shuttle, and took it to a secret research base hidden inside an asteroid field. Alexander Rydell and [[Patricia Hawkins]] followed and found themselves trapped in a reality designed by Wyndham's diseased mind. Rydell and Hawkins managed to escape, but Wyndham had disappeared. In his ramblings, Wyndham often spoke of condors. (''[[The Hawkins Incident]]'' [REJ])

Wyndham later returned, manipulating both Rydell and Starfleet Intelligence Agent [[Samantha Dallas]] from afar so that they would take action against the [[Next Federation]] conspiracy led by Admiral [[Hitori Sulu]]. Wyndham contacted [[Admiral Cooper]], who brought in several Starfleet vessels to force the surrender of the Next Federation fleet.

(Admiral Wyndham's name is yet another "Twin Peaks" reference.)
