Alpha-Centaurian scientist who traveled to Argelius on the [[USS Secondprize]]. Pevzin was the "inventor" of the [[ Protilator]]. The Protilator was built from Dominion technology, and Pevzin really had no idea what it did, if it did anything at all. He just used his work on the Protilator to get a grant and a free trip to Argelius. In order to test it out, Pevzin attached the Protilator to the warp core of the [[USS Secondprize]]. When he activated the device, it split the ship into three pieces. Lieutenant [[Monica Vaughn]] was able to use the Protilator and put the Secondprize back together. In retribution, Vaughn stashed Pevzin in the transporter buffer for the rest of the trip to Argelius. (''[[Tricks Of The Trade]]'' [TRK])
