Khan Noonian Singh is a 20th Century genetically engineered despot who you should really look up at Memory Alpha if you want to know about him. [[Mike Harper]] of the [[SS Clydesdale]] was offered a job by Commodore [[Scott Enwright]] to go check up on Khan, who had been stranded on [[Ceti Alpha Five]] by [[James T. Kirk]]. Mike refused, but, unbeknownst to him, [[Dr. Janet Corbair]] later accepted the assignment; although, she planned to just make up reports.

Mike later found out and took the Clydesdale to Ceti Alpha Five to do the job properly. Things did not go well, resulting in the destruction of [[Ceti Alpha Six]]. This event was not good for Khan or his followers, and Khan later made his displeasure known in "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan."
