	In [[Waystation Village]]'s Ops, Lieutenant Commander [[Walter Morales]], Lieutenant [[Craig Porter]], Lieutenant [[Sean Russell]], and Colonel [[Martin Lazlo]] try to develop a plan with Morales informing Captain [[Jack Woodall]] of the [[USS Orleans]] that, despite the chain of command, Morales would be in charge of the situation. On a much less material plane of existence, [[Leximas]] learns that her body has been blown up but that the Ushers and Directors now need her to go distract [[The Critics]] so that the [[Starshine Kids]] can be defeated. In an unhelpfully vague way, they suggest that Leximas get help from someone who knows something about omnipotent beings. Leximas realizes that they mean Commander [[Lisa Beck]], and Leximas is able to whisk her off of the new [[Waystation]] just before [[Sesil]] can make her stare into the glowing sphere he uses to brainwash his recruits. Remembering how she used her Q powers when she had them, Beck starts battling the Critics on a higher plane while Morales evacuates everyone from Waystation Village onto the Orleans. Once the evacuation is complete, Morales orders Woodall to go into the [[Multek Enclave]] to see if Porter can convince the Multeks to assist them in retaking the station. Back on Waystation, Sesil moves on to Yeoman [[Tina Jones]] and forces her to look into his brainwashing sphere.


			Morales and Lazlo pull together a small force of security officers, marines, engineers, and construction workers from the [[Zenedron Construction Group]] and start planning a way to retake the station. Beck and Leximas set a metaphysical version of Michael Myers loose on the Critics. On the Orleans, Porter is able to talk a Multek captain into believe that Porter is a Multek pretending to be a "Federation" as a part of a test and gets him to gather up a few more Multek ships to help attack Waystation. With the Multeks on the way, the Orleans, Waystation's runabouts, and the construction fleet attack Waystation. Thanks to a distraction from Maruac in Ops, Waystation's shields are dropped long enough for Lazlo to remotely pilot the [[USS Mongoose]], which was already on Waystation, into position to leave a gap in the shields when they are brought back up. The runabout [[USS Yadkin]] is destroyed, but the crew is able to beam onto Waystation through the hole provided by the Mongoose. The Orleans is getting pummeled, and the construction fleet begins lobbing the modules from the abandoned Waystation Village at Waystation's shields. The Multek fleet arrives, taking the pressure off the Orleans, as Lazlo, Morales and their teams reach Ops. Sesil summons the Critics, but they are not much help, since they are being pursued by Beck and Leximas. The Critics decide to retreat, taking Sesil with them to the Delta Quadrant. Porter sends the Multeks home. Leximas also leaves, moving on to continue her existence on the spiritual plane, much to the distress of Bradley Dillon.

The End of Renovations has come...but I don't think Commander [[Lisa Beck]] and the crew are too happy about it. [[The Critics]] have the upper hand, and their minions, the [[Starshine Kids]], are hellbent on converting everyone into their little cult. Can the crew find a way out of this mess? Will Commander Beck be forced into a radically different hairdo? Is Renovations really and truly over?
