While Stafford and Beck chase after her, [[Matthew Noonan\|Noonan]] and [[Jane 5-B\|Fifebee]] remain on Waystation to determine who's responsible for distributing the Dream Machines. 			During the hunt for K'Eleese, Stafford is incapacitated, leaving Beck in command of the ship. She manages to apprehend the pirate, but Silverado is nearly disabled in the attempt. The relationships between the Waystation and Silverado crews in this story can best be described as 'strained'. For example, [[Sean Russell\|Russell]] is nearly hit with a beer mug after suggesting that Dr. Wowryk is a lesbian.
