She kept it a secret because she did not want the attention from Commander [[Prosak]] that she knew it would bring and also because other Romulans could be quite mean to RommaVulcs. She did, however, assist with the meld, which allowed her, Prosak, and Sub-Commander Remax to enter [[Selex]]'s mind and help keep the ship from exploding. While joined with Selex, who was directly connected to the Manamanat, she acted as the ship's computer and frustrated the Breen's attempts to use the ship once they boarded and took it over. Following these events, Zantak returned to the Empire with Commander [[Vioxx]] and the others, and she continued to serve as the helm officer on Vioxx's new command, another scout ship.
