Fornax Iii

Uncolonized but very hospitable world in Federation space. While a great place to be during the day, at night, an unusual radiation that is normally dispersed by sunlight causes unusual cravings in many people that cause them to act similar to vampires and zombies. The crew of the USS Banshee experienced such changes when it examined the planet for possible colonization. Because of the Banshee's findings, Fornax III now has warning beacons in orbit.
