Neilsonians

Residents of Neilson IV. The Neilsonians are slightly shorter than humans and live in a society they have modeled after Earth television shows of the 1950s and 1960s. The based their entire culture on these signals they were receiving from space. During a visit by the USS Secondprize, the Neilsonians discovered the presence of Emily Sullivan. Believing her to be a descendant of their beloved Ed Sullivan, the Neilsonians forced her and the other members of the away team to put on a variety show. ("And Now, Right Here On Our Show..." [TRK])
