Carsullis

Carsullis was a pre-industrial Class M world with a level of development roughly equivalent to Medieval Europe. After the Hermes 5 self-destructed in a failed test of the anti-singularity drive developed by Lieutenant Shelly Marsden, the explosives inside the ship's backup computer core did not detonate, and the core landed intact Carsullis. The core, which was now being worshipped and called The Oracle, had the Carsullans build a shrine around it using rocks that it knew would interfere with sensors and transporters. Marsden was sent to Carsullis to retrieve the core, but she, it, and Cole Anfibon were beamed aboard a Breen ship commanded by Thot-Phul after the Breen blasted the shrine from orbit. With the influence of the computer core removed, the Carsullans presumably returned to their normal path of development. (Scrap Metal Of The Gods [BG])
