Infinite Probability Drive

Featured in the story Probably Doomed[SLV], the Infinite Probability Drive was a device designed by Dr. Cadela. The idea behind the device was that if one could alter the statistical probabilities in a particular region, one could make it it possible for ships to endure incredibly high speeds, with almost no chance of engine overload or failure. Unfortunately, a mishap during testing caused all kinds of extremely improbably things to start happening. In the end, the project was canceled.
