Federation member species and residents of Kynax. The Kynaxins wished to colonize Kynax's moon but could not establish peaceful relations with the Oloni, a violent tribe native to the moon. Starfleet sent the USS Secondprize to negotiate with the Oloni. ("Claire Webber; The Hugging Hunter" [TRK])
