Lehrer Colony

Lehrer Colony was a small colony in 23rd century that had been established on an idyllic and seemingly uninhabited world. The scans of the planet missed that it was occupied by tiny blue humanoids, who were not pleased that the Federation set up a colony there. Mike Harper and the crew of the SS Clydesdale were able to save the colonists from an attack by the native beings, but the colony had to be abandoned. Lehrer Colony was named after the musical comedy genius Tom Lehrer for no reason other than that the author felt like it. ("Looking Out for the Little Guy" [TOS])
