Lt. Commander Horace Malloy

Inventory officer aboard the USS Corsica in the Beta Quadrant. Malloy goes spectacularly ga-ga during an investigation into a crashed Borg ship, demanding a transfer from the Corsica's first officer Commander Eno. When said transfer is not forthcoming, Malloy loses the plot big-time, bashes Eno unconcious by repeatedly whacking him against the Borg cube's hull and then proceeds to begin tagging the entire Borg ship and it's assemblies.

The "Not so crashed and dead" cube#590 (They have a habit of that...) abrubtly reactivates and assimilates Malloy, at which point his forceful personality and duty bound mentality subtley alters the directives of the cube. The entire vessel suddenly exists to "Seek out, assess, account for, and secure all sensitive property at all costs.".
