USS Concordia

Federation starship, Miranda Class. NCC 1102. Destroyed in the Selska system and parted out by the Selskans to construct their first Beheamoth ship. Commander Roger Whiteford was originally the second officer of the Concordia, and was rescued from the surface of the Selskan scrapyard Moon by the crew of the shuttle Mondeo when the USS Devonshire was assigned to find the USS Banodyne, which had gone missing in the same area.

The Concordia was the only semi-spaceworthy hull left intact by the Selskans, and as such, was the basis of Tremane's plan to re-launch one of the scrapped ships on the moon. By adding some extra parts for trim, power and balance, and by crashing the Mondeo into the back of the engineering section of the ship's hull, Tremane and the rescued officers of the ships abandoned on the moon's surface, managed to get spaceborne just as the USS Devonshire aided by a small fleet of other starships, arrived to rescue them.

The Concordia was finally destroyed when Tremane rammed it into the Selskan Beheamoth, destroying both ships and ending the battle of Selska.

The Concordia is named after the carrier mothership in Wing Commander II.
