Lackinis

The Lackinis were a race of aliens who resided in the Andromeda Galaxy, and they literally existed to serve. They wrote a complete guidebook to Andromeda because their master told them to. A group of Lackinis worked in a shop on Gyjik's Galaxy Gateway, and, when Bain interceded on their behalf when he thought the shopkeeper was mistreating them, they ended up declaring that Bain was their new master. Not wanting to have that responsibility, Bain made a run for it back to the USS Anomaly (Had himself beamed away, actually), and the Lackinis swore they would find their master.
