Synopsis
With their first diplomatic mission behind them, the crew of the USS Hootenanny are sailing blissfully onward to their next party, (albeit a delayed one), with the exception of First officer Groza who is having a bit of a bad time following his plummet from the bridge to the nether regions of the ship in episode 1.
Confined to sickbay, the first officer is being pieced slowly back together by the ernstwhile Snork whilst the others deswperately try to find something/anything to celebrate - thus honing their party skills and making them more able to meet the needs of an advanced diplomatic crew.
After a small incident with a can of brasso travelling far faster than any such cleaning agent has any right to be propelled to, Markham discovers that a certain crewmember has a birthday approaching fast, and decides to organise a celebration fit for purpose. But with a crew this badly out of whack, which purpose is it fit for?
History Continued
After contributing to the Round Robin now famous for producing Hootenanny, I just couldn;t get poor Groza out of my head. He just deserved so much more from his infamous drop out from the bridge, and so Groza's Day appeared!
