Mark Stockman

Mark hails from the deepest, darkest reaches of the UK, (a little county called Devon tacked onto the South West penninsula to act as a go between between the Cornish and the rest of the UK.) Born in 1973, he is considered to be "over the hill" by some of the other authors (and his wife!!!). During the early 90's he enlisted in the Royal Navy, because in his own words, "It was the closest thing I could find to a Starship...." (Proving he was a Tantalus V candidate even back then.)

Besides writing Origins, he has no other creative bones within his ample frame, although he has been nominated for "English Man Most Likely To Act As Shrek's Body Double" and used to maintain an uneasy and frankly disturbing relationship with his classic BMW 318..... Which ended abruptly in mid 2008 when Mrs. Lensman finally discovered just how much petrol the thing drank - and just how damn fast he used to drive it. (The motto - Never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly - applies here.)

Mark currently works in IT for the local county authority at a community college,. (Where he spends most of his time avoiding contact with the pupils). And has just reopened his own entertainment company in the SW United Kingdom. Alongside writing Star Traks: Origins, Mark enjoys naked bungee jumping in dark wooded areas.....
