Brown Borg

The Brown Borg were a small Collective of less than 100 drones that swore off technology after the Great Factioning and settled on a Class M world where they sought perfection through harmony with the land. They removed what implants they could and buried them in a dirt mound. They lived a simple existence until the USS Anomaly crashed near their home, Village One. The Brown Borg leader, Jebediah of Brown was welcoming to Captain Reginald Bain and offered food to the Anomaly crew. However, once the crew stole implants in order to harvest nanoprobes to repair the Anomaly, the Brown Borg attempted to assimilate the crew, so that they did not use the stolen technology. The Brown Borg were unable to achieve this goal though and were left to return to their lives as the repaired Anomaly launched and returned to space. (Living Off The Land [BG])
