Rorshak was the Romulan ambassador to the Federation in the 26th century and the father of Prosak. He divorced Prosak's mother, Eudora, when Prosak was young. He calls his daughter Boogles. Rorshak disapproved of Prosak's RommaVulc associates and attempted to show her that she had grown beyond them by bringing them with him to an official reception on board the USS Anomaly. (The Ears Have It [BG])
After the scout ship Tyvek was lost to the Lucinda entity in the Delta Quadrant and its command crew stranded on a planet there, Rorshak was sent by the Romulan leadership to request that the USS Anomaly go rescue the Tyvek's officers. He was not, however, to inform Starfleet about the entity. Before the Anomaly left, Rorshak commed Prosak but did not tell her of the danger that the Anomaly would be facing. She was subsequently nearly killed in a raceabout explosion and then possessed by the Lucinda entity. She later confronted her father about this over a comm, but he insisted that his duty to the Praetor came first. (Bold Faced Lies [BG])
When the Vulcans blockaded the Romulan Empire by putting a fleet in the neutral zone, Rorshak was trapped with a group of Senators. He got a message to the Anomaly asking for assistance. Captain Reginald Bain sent a team made up entirely of his Romulan officers in an unmarked raceabout to retrieve them. The Vulcans caught up with the raceabout, but Prosak had the Romulans pose as a theater troupe. The Vulcans believed the gambit; although, they hated the show Prosak and company put on. Throughout this, Prosak remained mad at Rorshak for not warning her about the danger Lucinda posed. (Once More, With Feelings [BG])
As Vulcan Alliance started trying in earnest to conquer the Empire, Rorshak and the senators joined the crew of the Warhawk Shakalak to begin hit-an-run operations against the Vulcans in Romulan space. This was his way of atoning to Prosak for what he had done. She forgave him and hugged him tightly before he left the Anomaly. (Strategic Retreat [BG])
At Prosak's request, Rorshak used his pull to get the Allegra assigned to rescue Captain Bain from the Breen, with Prosak commanding the mission (Trial And Error [BG]).
Dr. Fred Nooney appealed to Rorshak to help get Chynok released from a Romulan prison. From there she went on to work on the Wave of Relaxation cruise ship. (Welcome to the Party [BG])
