Head of the Accountancy Division to the Dillon Consortium and previously estranged wife of Klaus Reimann, she was forced to set up office on the S.S. Hansean after her offices in Salisbury, England, burnt down. At the time she was unaware that the Hansean was in command of her ex-husband, a fact she was not pleased to find out once she had boarded. She later beamed down alongside Leanne Braistway to the Taklamakan Desert to help Reimann capture the Nuabgar Nebula (The Incongruous Arrival]], Out for a Smoke [IV].

When the Hansean visited Cardassia Prime she was angry at Reimann's decision to get involved in a violent labour dispute, though she was later impressed at the deal the Captain managed to negotiate, starting the process of bringing the couple back together again (United Colours of Cardassia [IV]). After a pirate attack knowcked out the Hansean's universal translator she served as a translator for the crew, her native language being Spanish and having learnt a little English and German (Babel Talk [IV]).

Sanchez and Reimann officially moved in together towards the end of 2503, moving into her quarters after they were revealed to be larger than the Captain's. During the move Reimann was captured by crazed scientist Dr. Pendrick Baxter in his quest to reclone the creature Jabobo, Sanchez helped to free him by hitting Bxter's assistant, the Second Coming of Chuck Norris over the head with a Ming vase, knocking him unconcious (Jabobo 2.0 [IV]).
