Yuri Kasyov

Yuri Kasyov was the father of Dr. Natalia Kasyov of the USS Anomaly. Yuri was also a Starfleet Intelligence agent, and when Starfleet Intelligence determined that the Kantelov Annex needed to be better hidden, he and his wife Dasha Kasyov were recruited to run the farm in Siberia that SI built over the Annex, which they had buried under a vast quantity of dirt. They then built a farm on the step and recruited two married agents. Yuri and Dasha raised Natalia Kasyov on the farm before she attended Federation High then moved onto college and her doctoral work. Years later, a Vulcan strike team captured Yuri and Dasha and forced them to lead the Vulcans into the Annex. The Vulcans were attempting to retrieve the Kolch'ak Device to see if it could be used to control Romulans. It did indeed work on Romulans, but Lieutenant Commander Tovar, Audrey Bain, and a team from the USS Anomaly, including Natalia, was able to stop the Vulcans and destroy the device before they were able to escape with it.
