Okawa

Admiral Okawa was a half-human/half-Benzite astronomer who worked in Starfleet Sciences. Janie Tyler, the fiancee of Ensign Hector Arroyo of the USS Anomaly, worked in his office. When Janie and Admiral Okawa were on their way to Waystation Prime, they altered course to investigate a large blue phenomenon that had recently appeared in space. The Serellan artist Veraxe' captured the raceabout and imprisoned them. Soon thereafter, Arroyo learned they were missing and went with Marsden to investigate. They were briefly captured as well, but Arroyo was able to escape Veraxe', destroying multiple robots in the process, then free Marsden, Janie, and Okawa. They fled Veraxe's ship only to find that he had completed the painting, which was absolutely gorgeous. (The Ties That Bind [BG])
