This story is the very definition of pointless.  I'm fairly sure it came out of an attempt to give Vaughn something to do.  The "Vamos, Trekkies!" line makes me chuckle, though.

Having not ever really had a transporter malfunction story, Star Traks leaps into the fray with this tale of missing crewmen and temporal displacement. Transporter tricks may be old, but at least this version is short


Summary

Commander Travis Dillon and Lieutenant Commander Jaroch are lost while beaming up to the USS Secondprize during a storm. While Lieutenant Monica Vaughn struggles to bring them back, Dillon and Jaroch end up bouncing through time and space.
