Alan Decker is the creator of the Star Traks concept, Star Traks: The Original Series [TRK], Star Traks: Waystation [WAY], The Traks Files [TF], Star Traks: TOSsed [TOS] and co-creator of Star Traks: Boldly Gone [BG] with Anthony Butler.
Alan created Star Traks in October 1992 while he was a Freshman at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. The crew of the USS Secondprize were all based on his friends from ODU. He graduated with a degree in English in December 1995.
After leaving ODU, Alan attended graduate school at Louisiana State University, where he received his MFA in Screenwriting in May 1999.
Currently, Alan is married, has three children, and lives in the Baltimore, Maryland area, where he works in the IT field.
