Alan Decker is the creator of the Star Traks concept, Star Traks: The Original Series [TRK], Star Traks: Waystation [WAY], The Traks Files [TF], and co-creator of Star Traks: Boldly Gone [BG] with Anthony Butler.

Alan created Star Traks in October 1992 while he was a Freshman at [[Old Dominion University]].  The crew of the [[USS Secondprize]] were all based on his friends from ODU.  He graduated with a degree in English in December 1995.


After leaving ODU, Alan got married (information about his wife is not included here to protect the innocent) and then attended graduate school at Louisiana State University, where he received his MFA in Screenwriting in May 1999.
