Lieutenant Commander Jaroch's past lives are getting out of hand. It seems he's got a problem he won't talk about with anyone, and the stress of this is bringing his previous incarnations to the surface. Jaroch hopes that a counseling session with Claire Webber will cure him...But under no circumstances must she know what's really bothering him.
Summary
Lieutenant Commander Jaroch has been experiencing an internal war with three of his past lives. Not knowing what else to do, he goes to Counselor Claire Webber, whom he hopes can help them work through the dispute. Jaroch won't give Webber the details, but the core of the matter seems to be a disagreement about whether or not to take some kind of action. Talking gets them nowhere. J'Ter attempts to strangle Jaroch (which means that he's throttling himself). Webber suggests that they try art therapy. Through this one past life, Telsa Tecma J'Mer is appeased and drops out of the argument. Realizing that she can soothe Jaroch's mind by fulfulling the wishes of the other past lives, Webber creates situations that satisfy their dreams. The journalist, Jarl, gets the story of several lifetimes, but J'Ter is not so easy. Webber ends up hugging him into submission. Webber offers to help Jaroch with whatever problem started this internal battle in the first place, but Jaroch refuses.
