The Dillon Consortium was the name used in the 26th century for what used to be Dillon Enterprises. The company had grown to a massive scale and had its own fleet of ships.

In the late 25th Century, the Consortium started a financial conquest of the Multek Enclave, using the success of Bradley Dillon's CasinoWorld to force the Multeks to hand over control of their resort on Edgeworld. The Consortium planned to rename it Spa on the Edge and sent one of their attorneys, Tori Burke, there in a stasis tube where she would be automatically awakened to oversee the renovations once the construction crew arrived. Before this could happen, an unexplained incident forced the evacuation of CasinoWorld and soon after that, the Multek Enclave vanished, taking all of its planets, including CasinoWorld and Edgeworld with it.

The Consortium attacked the Green Borg with a virus generated from a cube from before the Great Factioning that had been abandoned over a planet in Red Borg space that left their drones involuntarily giving sales pitches for Consortium products. The Manager was forced to close the Collective of Bargains and commed Starfleet requesting Reginald Bain's help. The virus was able to infect the USS Anomaly as well, generating holograms of Bradley Dillon all over the ship spouting ads. The crew of the Anomaly was able to find the source of the virus and destroy it, but this attracted the attention of three Red Borg ships. They attacked the Anomaly, sending it crashing to the planet below. (Hard Sell [BG])

About twenty years after the Multek Enclave vanished, the USS Anomaly accidentally ended up in the pocket universe where the Multeks had hidden their world. Captain Reginald Bain set a plan in motion to shut down the pocket universe generators and return the Multek Enclave to normal space. It was successful, but then he learned that the Multeks had hidden the Enclave in the first place to prevent their worlds from being taken over by the Dillon Consortium. Upon detecting that it was back in normal space, the Consortium sent a fleet to take possession of the Multek worlds, and the CasinoWorld structures formed a giant robot and took off from their planet intent on destroying any non-Consortium ships. Commander Vioxx was able to and his officers were able to disable the robot, while Bain and the Anomaly took on an entire Consortium acquisition fleet. Lieutenant Shelly Marsden repaired the pocket universe generator, once again keeping the Multek Enclave same from the Consortium. (Welcome To The Hotel California, Contractual Obligations [BG])
