Karwrek

Karwrek was a Romulan admiral and advisor to the Praetor. After learning that the Pliggeri homeworld was destroyed and there was no way to duplicate the USS Anomaly's anti-singularity drive, Karwrek told the Praetor that he had an idea about other avenues they could pursue. The other avenues turned out to be a deal with the Breen to release Selex, who had intimate knowledge of the Anomaly's drive system, in exchange for sharing the schematics of the drive Selex developed with this knowledge. Selex was freed and then supervised the construction of a prototype ship, the Manamanat, at the Malak Pasala ship yards. He also used this opportunity to try to get revenge against his former crewmates and kill Commander Prosak. This all failed thanks to the Anomaly crew, and Karwrek's plan was exposed, at which point he was either tried and executed...or possibly lauded for his duplicity. They're Romulans, so who knows?
