Roger Daley was a Starfleet Lieutenant and aide to Admiral Kristen Larkin. He was able to keep Captain Reginald Bain busy while Larkin had technicians install the Emergency Diplomatic Hologram on board the USS Anomaly before the ship left for the Andromeda Galaxy.
