Mr. Carr transferred into Engineering on the Devonshire from security on another ship in the fleet because "it looked like fun." Standard is not his first language, having been raised on the outer colony world of Carraneous Prime. As an engineer, he makes a good bookend and frankly served more as a moveable strutt in the adventures of the Devonshire than as an effective member of the team.
