Kathryn Tremane

Kathryn "Kat" Tremane, born in 2250 on a moon shuttle back to Earth, currently assigned as the chief science officer onboard the USS Devonshire. Her previous postings have included Yeoman to the Captain on her last ship, junior science officer at an Earth research center into the mating habits of sea slugs and her first ever job was as a whip girl at "Helga's House Of Pain" in Berlin.

Kat isn't a conventional girl, which given her current assignment is a blessing. So far she's dealt with being the yeoman for Starfleet's greatest captain (to date) and also being her current Captain's love interest, a situation which is beginning to either annoy or amuse her but she can't quite decide which. She is well versed in all matters scientific (well she's two lesson's ahead of the rest of the ship's company of the Devonshire and that's all that matters) and she makes good use of the knowledge she's got to get the crew out of any really nasty situations. Her first real success was outsmarting J'Alte and the crew of the D'Arvuk which earned the Federation their first ever fully functional captured Romulan Warbird.

Since then she has become an indispensable member of the crew, and is rapidly stealing the heart of her Captain, but she's playing hard to get, which is steadily winding him up no end.
