Ens. Manley

Ensign Manley is the Beta shift helmsman of the USS Devonshire and as such is often found cursing whatever mess Vincantos has left at the station from the Alpha shift. Born in 2252 in the wilderness of Dartmoor UK, he's more at home driving a tractor and trailer than a multi-million tonne state of the art (It's the Devonshire, so state of the floor fits better. Ed.) Federation Starship. During the uneventful beta shifts he has spent on the bridge, Manley has managed to work through every known tactical simulation of an attack on the ship. Rumour has it, he can successfully defend the Devonshire against an entire squadron of Klingon K'T'Inga class ships without a singl etorpedo hit on the old girl, but that he then completely trashes her against an asteroid trying to victory roll the ship.

Started off his working life as a DJ in one of the major clubs in the civillian sector on spacedock and although he doesn't like to refer to his time spent there, we have it on good authority he was as bad as we suspect. Why else would he have joined Starfleet?
