Snotch
Snotch was a Vulcan operative for hire who presented himself as a travelling trader. He was hired by the Dillon Consortium to get close to Commander Prosak, appealing to her desire to be accepted by Vulcans as part of a plan to gather information against Captain Reginald Bain. He ended up being kidnapped along with several of the Anomaly's crew as part of Jackson Loomis' plan to brainwash them against Bain. Once Snotch and the others were rescued by Waystation Prime security, Snotch continued working for the Consortium under its new CEO, Tori Burke. (Legend of the Bain [BG])
After Prosak informed him that the USS Anomaly would be leaving rather abruptly, Snotch hoped that his work was at an end, but Burke ordered him to get aboard and gather information. Prosak informed Bain that Snotch had asked to join them, which raised Bain's suspicions. He asked Tovar to give Snotch the VIP treatment, which was code for heavy surveillance. Throughout the voyage, any attempt to gather information Snotch made was thwarted, and he kept having to dodge Prosak. After she kissed him, Snotch decided that he'd had enough and stayed in his quarters until the Anomaly could drop him off at Matria Prime. Lieutenant Commander Tovar detected Snotch's use of an ultraspace transceiver during the mission, which Snotch used to communicate with Burke. This confirmed Bain's suspicions, and Bin purposely said the name Pliggeri to Snotch, knowing that it would get back to Burke. Snotch did indeed pass this along then left at Matria Prime, at which point he considered his employment by the Consortium at an end. (Primary Sources [BG])
Snotch was arrested and presumably sent to a Federation rehabilitation colony after Burke's arrest and the surrender of the Dillon Consortium fleet at Nelephron. (Welcome to the Party [BG])
