Summary
While Commander Lisa Beck is away on leave, Lieutenant Commander Walter Morales must deal with the increasingly-annoying demands of the Zenedron Construction Group. When Morales won't give in, the construction workers pack up and leave. Morales declares that the Starfleet crew can finish the station themselves, which turns out to be well beyond their ability. To add to Morales' problems, Bradley Dillon is suing Starfleet, with the help of his team of lawyers including Alyssa McNeil, because the construction company working on his offices walked off the job in solidarity with Zenedron. Morales goes on to insult Farlak, the Klingon interior decorator assigned to design the new station's interior. In short order, Morales is pummeled by a thug from the construction workers' union, and Waystation Village is attacked by a Klingon ship because of Morales' treatment of Farlak. While Krilik is able to resolve the Klingon problem, a new situation arises when Zenedron repossesses their cargo modules, beaming everyone over to the incomplete station.
The Starfleet Judge arrives to preside over Bradley's lawsuit. He loses but really doesn't care. He just filed the suit for laughs. Bradley also offers to pay the Zenedron Construction Group a few million extra credits to get over their issues. Beck returns to find everything in order and construction moving along nicely.
