Author's Comments
Belch-O-Rama was actually written in the Fall of 1993, well after Star Traks 1, Star Traks 2, Star Traks 3 and the first round of short stories. I decided to go back and explain how Commander Baird and Ensign Sullivan ended up in a relationship by the time of "Star Traks 2" when there was no inkling of interest between them in "Star Traks 1." I also wanted to introduce Ensign Andrea Carr. The planet of Obnoxious Belchers had been a throwaway reference in the Captain's Logs of "Star Traks 1," but it seemed like it could be a fun planet to visit.
