Leximas never asked to come to Waystation. And she certainly never asked to be regarded as some kind of guru. The final indignity comes when she attracts a group of followers...rabid, unceasingly devoted (bordering on psychotic) followers. Just how far will the Poster Child of Inner Peace go to reclaim her solitary existence?

Summary

After Leximas warned Colonel Martin Lazlo ahead of time not to take his marines to Ridalis Four, where they were attacked by mind-controlling squirrels, Lazlo has decided that he does not trust Leximas. Since Commander Lisa Beck won't take any action against the guru, Lazlo orders his marines to keep an eye on her. The various marines assigned to watch her end up becoming entranced with her serenity and decide to resign their commissions and follow Leximas' teachings. This doesn't make Lazlo or Leximas very happy. Leximas never wanted followers, and her new groupies will not give her a moment's peace. She finally can't take it anymore and tells at them. The marines, deciding that maybe Leximas isn't as centered as they thought, leave her and rejoin the corps.
