For the last eighteen months, Starfleet Intelligence Agent Samantha Dallas has been committed/imprisoned at the Tantalus V Psychiatric Facility. Now a mysterious benefactor is giving her a chance to strike back.

Summary

Samantha Dallas is released from Tantalus V by an order from Admiral Earl Wyndham. Wyndham also sends Dallas a package leading her to Waystation, where the Crazy Condor Circus is due to perform. Dallas and Agent Batyn join forces with the crew of Waystation to find out what the Condors are up to. They narrowly prevent the Condors from stealing an experimental device from Bradley Dillon. Several Condors are arrested, but the rest of the circus is released due to lack of evidence.
