Dr. Amedon Nelson is coming back for a visit, but she has a demand that will send the command crew scrambling. Meanwhile, Bradley Dillon finds one of his lifelong dreams quickly turning into a nightmare.

Summary

In an effort to find a suitable planet for his proposed CasinoWorld, Bradley Dillon invites Frequoq Wuddle to the station for a meeting. At the same time, Nathaniel Billingsly, an author assigned to write a biography of Bradley, arrives. Wuddle and his wife, Dr. Amedon Nelson accept Bradley's invitation and come to Waystation. While aboard, they decide to have a dinner party with their friends, but there is one requirement: everyone has to bring a date. Considering that everyone in the command crew except Commander Walter Morales is single, this is a bit of a problem.

Bradley finds that his biographer is a bit more of an interrogator, delving into areas that Bradley would prefer not to discuss. Lieutenant Commander Craig Porter, unable to think of anyone to ask to dinner, decides to ask Yeoman Tina Jones to go with him only to discover that she has already found a date. She asks him if he sent her flowers, though, which he did not. Lieutenant Commander Sean Russell ends up inviting Dr. Diantha, who doesn't have an interest in going with Russell but she does want the opportunity to speak to Dr. Nelson. Diantha agrees. Out of options, Porter and Captain Lisa Beck end up deciding to go to the dinner with each other.

Billingsly becomes increasingly belligerent in his questions to Bradley, finally shouting at Bradley that Bradley had no business being President and that he was a disgrace to the office. Bradley tries to end the interview, but Billingsly pulls a weapon, which was hidden in a pen, on him.

The dinner party ends up being far more enjoyable than Porter is expecting. Of course, it helps that he is consuming large amount of Multek wine.
