The first Multek mission sent to see what, if anything, is actually outside the Multek Enclave has disappeared, and Frequoq Wuddle needs Waystation's help to find his missing people.


Summary

A Multek exploratory vessel sent by Frequoq Wuddle to explore beyond the Multek Enclave encounters a Collector ship and is, not surprisingly, collected. Having lost contact with his ship, Wuddle goes to Waystation for help, since Starfleet is far more familiar with these sorts of situations. Joan Redding uses Wuddle's impending visit and the threat of her ambushing Wuddle as a way to get Lieutenant Commander Craig Porter to ask her to dinner.
